Fall is here! Bonfires, huge cups of hot herbal teas, and gorgeous sunsets await us. And who doesn’t love the scent of Autumn?! The trees are losing their leaves and the smell of pumpkin spiced everything is in the air.
Want to bring the smell of fall indoors? Or maybe you are looking for a simple way to relax and feel cozy at home. No matter the ‘why’ behind your reason, you will love these fall essential oil blends.
Nothing says unwind quite like delicious combinations of your favorite essential oils. Not sure what blends smell great together? Don’t fret! That’s what I’m here for.
Over the past few falls, I’ve started to experiment with my favorite essential oils to see what scents fit the season most. Following my intuition and personal preference for aroma, I’ve concocted a few blends I believe would be perfect for anyone who loves fall.
Down below, I’ve compiled a list of five yummy fall diffuser blend ideas that you can use to completely unwind at home or wherever you love the scent of essential oils.
Here are my five ideas for yummy fall diffuser blends for relaxation or for a cozy feeling in the home. I’m not going to add how many drops for each because it’s a personal preference. The oils can also be added to a carrier oil for dilution and massaged into the skin for relaxation.
Blend Number 1. Tranquil Space
- Roman, German or Cape Chamomile
This fall essential oil blend is ideal in a diffuser. The hint of lavender and chamomile give it a uniquely relaxing overtone, while the cedarwood transports you into the heart of a forest full of fall changes. Explore it in the afternoon and evening for a powerfully relaxing effect.
Blend Number 2. Fallen Leaves
Nothing says fall quite like the hint of cinnamon and frankincense. Blended together with a hint of citrusy orange, this combination is sure to have you dreaming about all that fall has in store. My fallen leaves blend is delicious enough for everyday use, and I find it extremely relaxing.
Blend Number 3. Peace of Mind
- Ylang Ylang
- German or Roman Chamomile
Looking for peace of mind as we transition into the cooler months of the year? Then you’ll love this peace of mind blend. The Ylang Ylang and patchouli are perfect for reducing the feeling of stress in your mind. I love to do a calming meditation with this blend diffusing nearby. Give it a try this fall!
Blend Number 4. Pumpkin Spiced Latte
- Cinnamon Bark
This could quite possibly be the most ‘autumn’ recipes of all my fall essential oil blends. The combination of cinnamon bark, nutmeg, and ginger scream it’s fall! Add each essential oil to your preference and inhale the scent of autumn in your home. Enjoy the smell of pumpkin spiced latte without all the sugar and calories of a real one!
Blend Number 5. Inner Strength
With the changing of the seasons comes a new need for inner strength. I use this blend when I feel particularly uptight and need to let go and unwind fully. Often, I’ll use it throughout challenging times for an added relaxation effect. I highly recommend it if you want to fully relax.
