Terms

My relationship with my clients is based on mutual trust and respect. All clients must agree to the policies below as a condition of working with me.

New Clients:
Prior to your first appointment, you will be required to complete an online confidential intake form included in your appointment confirmation email. Depending on the service you choose, there may be more than one intake form required. I require these intake forms to be completed no later than 12 hours before your appointment time, unless the appointment is schedule on the same day. This helps me to review and prepare for your appointment. Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment time so you do not lose any of your session time. Your session will start and end on time.

At your first visit, I conduct a thorough intake interview where I cover your health history and your goals. We will discuss your treatment plan and recommendations at the end of your session based on my findings during your session.

It is my commitment to help you achieve your health goals. Your comfort and satisfaction are important to me. If you have any questions, please let me know. I look forward to meeting you!

Appointment Types:
I offer five main services:

1. Lymphatic drainage massage
2. Massage cupping as an add-on therapy for an additional $20
3. Breast massage
4. Nutrition Response Testing (in person only)
5. Nutrition Consulting (in person or remote sessions)

Appointment Times:
Please note that the time you have booked is the length of your entire appointment.

Lymphatic Massage Appointments:
I do my best to maximize your hands-on time, but please be aware that it is not always the full length of the appointment based on length of interview time and your arrival time. Expect up to 10-15 minutes for the intake interview at your first visit and approximately 5-10 minutes follow up during subsequent visits.

If you want more hands-on time, you may want to consider booking 90 minutes.

Privacy:
In order to better serve you, I keep detailed notes to track your healing journey and better support you. Confidentiality is observed at all times. Your consent is required to releasing any information in your file. Additionally, if you consent, I may discuss your case with the other healthcare providers involved in your care in order to best serve you.

Cancellation/Reschedule/No-Show Policy:
Sometimes things happen and you have to cancel or reschedule your appointment and that’s okay. There is no fee if notification is given at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.

As a sole practitioner, 100% of my income comes from my valued clients.
Therefore, when you cancel on short notice, my business is jeopardized. I have lost time and a gap in my schedule. That lost time could have been utilized by someone else that would benefit from my care.

I have a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. Notification of cancellation, rescheduling or reducing your appointment duration that is given less than 24 hours prior to the appointment time for any reason will result in a 100% charge of the reserved service amount.

Seriously. Any reason–emergency, double-booking, you forgot, surprise visit from an out-of-town guest, etc. You understand what I mean.

The only exception is if you are contagiously sick. In that case, I want you to stay home and take care of yourself. However, if you do not call and notify me within 6 hours or no show to your appointment, it will be treated as a no show and charged accordingly.

This policy is necessary to protect my most valuable resource–my time!

Arriving Late:
Out of respect and consideration, please arrive 5 minutes early. Your session will start and end on time. If you arrive right on time or late, I can only give you whatever time remains of your appointment, and you will be responsible to pay the full length of the session you requested. If you are 15 minutes late and I have not heard from you, your appointment will be considered a no show and you will be charged accordingly.

Refusal of Service:
I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue treatment at any time. Reasons may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• inappropriate behavior, intoxication, or drug use
• illness or infectious conditions
• contagious skin conditions
• repeated no shows and/or late cancellations

If you exhibit any of the above, you’ll be denied treatment and charged for the appointment.

Thank you for keeping my practice safe.
